Job Summary:

Plutus21 Capital is seeking a Capital Formation Associate based in Latin America to support the firm's investor engagement and capital formation initiatives.

This role is designed for individuals who are highly detail oriented, client focused, and capable of managing complex investor processes across numerous conversations simultaneously.

The associate will work closely with the leadership team to coordinate outreach, investor communications, and capital raising initiatives with family offices, individual investors, and institutional investors. Travel to the United States is required for conferences, meetings, and training.

Key Responsibilities:

Investor Relationship Support:

  • Support ongoing communication with family offices, individual investors, and institutional investors
  • Prepare investor materials including presentations, research notes, and data room updates
  • Track investor conversations and follow ups across multiple active discussions

Capital Formation Process Management:

  • Help coordinate the full investor process from initial introduction through closing
  • Manage meeting scheduling, follow ups, and investor pipeline tracking
  • Maintain internal records of investor discussions, diligence requests, and materials shared

Business Development and Outreach:

  • Build new relationships with family offices, individual investors, and institutional investors across key markets
  • Identify and add prospective investors to the firm's capital formation pipeline
  • Conduct targeted outreach to potential investors through email, conferences, introductions, and professional networks
  • Maintain and update investor pipelines and CRM systems with accurate contact information, notes, and follow ups
  • Research investor profiles, allocation preferences, and portfolio positioning to identify strong potential partners
  • Assist with distribution strategy and marketing initiatives to expand the firm's investor base
  • Support the development of marketing materials, research notes, and outreach campaigns to communicate the firm's strategy and insights
  • Track outreach activity, investor engagement, and pipeline progression across the capital formation process

Investor Materials and Research:

  • Assist with preparation and refinement of investor presentations, strategy notes, and research materials
  • Coordinate updates to firm data rooms and investor documentation
  • Ensure consistency and accuracy across all investor facing materials

Roadshows and Travel Planning:

  • Coordinate investor roadshows across major financial centers in the United States and internationally
  • Plan and manage travel logistics including flights, accommodations, meeting locations, and conference participation
  • Organize investor meeting schedules to maximize efficiency during travel and roadshows
  • Prepare meeting materials and briefing notes for investor meetings and conferences
  • Coordinate with conference organizers, partners, and investor contacts to secure meetings
  • Ensure follow ups and documentation are completed after roadshows and investor trips
  • Maintain detailed tracking of meetings, investor feedback, and next steps following travel

Qualifications:

  • 1 to 2 years of experience in capital formation, operations, investor relations, investment banking, consulting, or related fields
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Highly organized and capable of managing multiple ongoing processes simultaneously
  • Client centered mindset with strong relationship management skills
  • Comfortable interacting with family offices, institutional investors, and senior executives
  • Ability to travel internationally to the United States and other countries
  • Experience working with investment firms, hedge funds, private equity firms, or asset managers
  • Familiarity with investor relations, fundraising processes, or capital markets
  • Experience working with investor CRMs or pipeline tracking tools
